R.I.P. 11-11-11

Dead Earnest, as the name I use to do everything I've accomplished over the last 10 years, is finally laid to rest.
More explanations and a bit of historical persepctive are on each of the introductory pages below. For now, just to say that under my Andy G. name (or "Andy Gee" if you want to find me on Facebook), the areas that are to continue are:
1)"The Sound" - My weekly Radio Show for Scottish unsigned acts (and beyond...) on Radio North Angus
For me this is even more important than the reviews and the promotions as it gives the listener a chance to hear loads of bands in one place that they wouldn't hear on any other show - Peel would have been proud....

3)The CD & Download Reviews on this website for unsigned bands and artists worldwide (selectively!!!)
I've received a lot of favourable comments for the reviews I do which is seriously appreciated. What I write comes from the heart and will always continue to do so....

4)CD Reviews on this website for very selectively chosen signed bands, old & new.
This bit's more rooted in my past than anything and so you'll either know or not, why these are there...

Sadly, the days of me attending (and promoting,in the past) concerts several times a week, are a thing of the past. I still will do the occasional gig review, but as and when the mood strikes or the lasting impression remains. I only hope someone else takes up where I've left off.

As always, anything I continue to do - radio, reviews, etc - will be what genuinely moves me.
If anything I do for my own enjoyment, has been, is or will be, useful to any unsigned band or artist to the slightest degree, then it's a real privelege to be of some assistance.
