15 TIMES DEAD-Bullet To The Head CD-EP

Glasgow metal band who deliver their fiery brew with a stunning directness, this 2-track EP is a testament to the fact that they can riff and roll with a furious efficiency. Right from the start they unleash a battery of guitar riffs that are swiftly joined by the second guitar and the pounding rhythm section before the vocalist delivers the lyrics at a pace that fits, the whole thing coming across a bit in the vein of early Metallica. As it roars through, you are hooked ona wave of metal mayhem that eventually erupts in the blistering heat of a lightning guitar solo before the song cracks on and goes for the kill. Not a chorus in sight but, as classic metal goes, it's one giant hook, with a slight Judas Priest tinge in there too. More dual guitar duelling puts the icing on the cake as the song and guitar work simply spiral upwards, casting giant glow all around. Thye second track begins with stop-start guitar riffing, shuffling drums and heavy drum beats before the whole thing becomes a giant metal fireball once more and rifffs its way to oblivion.
Pressing all the correct buttons as to what a scorching slice of solid Classic rock should sound like, this band is attention-grabbing from the off and have a decided appeal to the early Metallica crowd.
